Warranty Policy

At Chronohaus, every timepiece is hand-assembled, inspected, and tested before it leaves our workshop. We stand behind the quality of our builds and offer a limited warranty to protect you against rare manufacturing defects.


1. Warranty Coverage

All Chronohaus watches include a 6-Month Limited Warranty covering movement-related manufacturer defects that occur under normal, intended use.

Covered examples include:

  • Movement malfunction (NH35, NH34, VK63)
  • Mechanical failure not caused by impact or misuse
  • Power reserve issues caused by internal manufacturing faults

If your watch experiences any of the above within the 6-month warranty period, we will repair it at no cost.


2. What Is Not Covered

A. External / Cosmetic Damage

  • Scratches on the case, crystal, or bracelet
  • Wear and tear, including bracelet stretch
  • Fading, discolouration, or marks from daily use

B. Damage from Impact or Mishandling

  • Dropping the watch
  • Shock, impact, or accidental damage
  • Stripped crown threads caused by improper handling

C. Water Damage

Water resistance is tested prior to shipping. However, the warranty does not cover:

  • Moisture damage from exceeding stated depth tolerances
  • Incorrect crown position during exposure to water
  • Immersion beyond the watch's safe depth rating

D. Modifications After Purchase

Because Chronohaus builds custom-modified watches, any third-party modifications after delivery void the warranty, including:

  • Aftermarket part replacements
  • Unauthorized servicing
  • Opening the caseback, including for battery replacement or service attempts

E. Improper Use

  • Overwinding on hand-wind watches
  • Magnetic damage
  • Exposure to chemicals, solvents, or extreme environments

3. Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Email us at chronohauscanada@gmail.com
  2. Include your order number and a description of the issue
  3. Attach clear photos or a short video showing the defect

Our team will respond within 2–4 business days with next steps.


4. Limitations

  • The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Chronohaus is not liable for lost or stolen packages during return shipping
  • Warranty coverage cannot exceed the original purchase value of the product
  • Return shipping costs to Chronohaus are the responsibility of the customer
